This idea of imposing an imagined framework of order on the chaos surrounding us and how this allows us to continue to function and to develop ideas is central to my work.

I am interested in experimenting with different drawing and painting processes.

I collect images from a wide range of sources. Whether it be tourist brochures, children’s books or my own drawings of things I’ve seen, I am always on the lookout for something that catches my eye.

I like the randomness of the sources and enjoy trying to “collage” them all together to find a pictorial harmony.

In my own small way I like to think I am imposing my frame work on the multitude of images that we are bombarded with daily.
